  • When you sign up to our Stop Press email service. In this case, we will only use your details to send you Stop Press emails containing urgent village news or information.
  • When you contact a member of the Bulletin or Web team with a specific enquiry. In this case we will only use your details to respond to that particular enquiry.

2. SECURITY OF INFORMATION

To prevent unauthorised access or unlawful processing of your personal information, we keep any information you supply confidential and store it on a secure server which is password protected and guarded by a firewall.

3. NON-DISCLOSURE TO THIRD PARTIES

We will not pass any of your information to third parties unless required to do so by law.

We use your information only as set out in this Policy and will not sell, rent or disclose your information to others for marketing purposes.

4. COOKIES

The only cookies that are set for every visitor to the Blewbury site are those for Google Analytics, which we use purely to keep track of how people move around the site and which pages they find most useful. Commenting

If you choose to comment on any of the News items on this site, you will be asked to log in. When you do so, cookies will be set so that you don’t have to re-enter your login information on every subsequent visit. These commenter cookies are set to expire a little under one year from the time they’re set.
