Who the boys are we do not know but in the present day photograph we see Jamie Saunders and Richard Latham who played and sang the parts of King Arthur and Sir Gawain in the Opera ‘Sir Gawain and the Green Knight’. This specially commissioned Opera by Richard Blackford received its world premiere in Blewbury Church in January 1978.
