LENGTHMAN’S REPORT – JANUARY 2020
Nothing to report except wet conditions everywhere. Also smart meter fitted in the Scout Hut.
Regarding crime in the Village, there is little to report.
We have still had some issues with people “off roading” along the Ridgeway and on some occasions accessing private land. We have been and continue to work with the local landowners who have and are target hardening their property to restrict access as much as possible.
We have been patrolling and responding to calls about this activity. Some of these people have been dealt with by having their vehicles seized, reported for criminal damage and several Covid breech tickets have also been issued. We will be continuing to patrol the area.
