Ballet - Downland Dance
Ballet classes are held in the Village Hall of East Hagbourne and The West Wing Studio (Coxeter House, Abingdon). The Royal Academy of Dance syllabus is followed and classes are open to boys and girls aged three and older, with no upper age limit for adults. Opportunities exist for taking exams and performing. The 2016 autumn term started on Sept. 3rd -- term dates roughly fit in with the school year though the advanced and adult classes usually continue throughout the holidays. In addition, there are week-long intensive courses in the Easter and summer breaks. This term a new class has been started for children aged 7 to 11 (approx) who have missed out on the syllabus of the early years.
