    Citizens' Advice Bureau

    Please call for opening times or to make an appointment. Anyone visiting the Bureau without an appointment will be given a 10 minute 'gateway' interview with an adviser to find out what the issue is and to identify the best way forward. Appointments will then be offered where necessary.

        Open 8.30 am to noon Monday to Saturday and 2.30 to 5 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. As well as the usual services the Post Office provides E-top ups, a banking service, commission-free bureau de change, travel insurance, bill payment, free withdrawal of cash. The Shop has gifts, gift wrap, small toys, stationery, partyware, confectionery, soft drinks, batteries and some general medicines. There is also a dry cleaning service.

        Refuse Services - Collection

        Refuse collection services (bins, bulky items, hazardous waste collection) are operated by the Vale of White Horse District Council, with Biffa as the main contractor. Bins are normally collected on Tuesdays, with recycling collections (green bin) and landfill collections (grey bin) made on alternate weeks. Food waste is collected each week.

        Refuse disposal services are operated by Oxfordshire County Council. The main local waste and recycling centres are at Drayton, south of Drayton village, and Redbridge, Oxford, close to the Park and Ride car park.
