Sustainable Blewbury Early Spring Talk

21/03/2025

Gardening with ‘the early birder’: creating a wildlife-friendly garden by Jon Mason. Monday April 7th, 8.00pm Vale Room, Blewbury Village Hall

Jon Mason has created a wildlife-friendly garden at his home at Little Orchard, located at the foot of the Chiltern Hills. A geography teacher for 35 years, Jon is also a writer, naturalist and photographer. Whether you’ve got room for a few plant pots by the front door, or a larger plot of earth, Jon will be on hand to advise Blewbury growers (and would-be gardeners) about gardening with nature. He’ll help us to identify the best plants and flowers to support birds, insects and animals all year round, and give us tips on providing the best possible conditions for our wildlife to flourish. For a preview of his work just visit his website https://www.theearlybirder.co.uk/. Tickets on the door £8 including a drink of your choice
